Fuyumi's husband is a fledgling artist who teaches painting to their children while trying to win prizes in contests. One day, the couple is asked by gallery owner Oshima, who is visiting their studio, to find a nude model. They are told that a wealthy man who enjoys painting wants to paint nude women, and Oshima wants to do whatever it takes to meet his request and sell his face. A friend of Fuyumi's agrees to take on the job, but he unexpectedly cancels due to illness on the day of the event. Oshima, in front of the frustrated property owners, asks Fuyumi to model for him...
